Specialized's super-rugged Armadillo tires feature three layers of flat protection: A DuPont Aramid subtread barrier provides bead-to-bead protection. A second Aramid barrier impregnated with an Aramid-engineered elastomer seals gaps in the fabric weave. And a lightweight version of the latest off-road motorcycle technology prevents sidewall cuts. The result is highly effective flat-prevention technology that keeps you pedaling hassle free.
This tire features Specialized's Dual Radius Tread design. DRT combines an oversize casing with a standard tread for the reduced weight and lower rolling resistance of a narrow tire with the comfort and control of a wide one.
